Jennifer Mok

Independent Dance Artist

Mok graduated from The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts and joined the City Contemporary Dance Company as a dancer from 2007 to 2014. The meaning of being alive is the question Mok finds curious about.
In 2015, Mok performed in her first choreography, A Major Clown in G Flat, in Femininity of E-sides Dance Company, and was nominated for Outstanding Choreography and Outstanding Performance by a Female Dancer of the 18th Hong Kong Dance Awards. 2018, Mok was invited to the Hong Kong Dance Exchange Festival and the 2018 Dance Round Table in Taiwan. She created Moha in New Force in Motion Series in the same year and was nominated for Outstanding Small Venue Production of the 21st Hong Kong Dance Awards.
She created You are Beautiful and Moha at the 45th Hong Kong Arts Festival, both of which probe into the desire and fear in life. Mok’s also interested in exploring and collaborating with artists from different fields or the performing arts industry.
