Jimmy Suen graduated from the Hong Kong Institute of Contemporary Culture Lee Shau Kee School of Creativity and the Hong Kong Design Institute, majoring in music and creative media. He is a member of the hip-hop street dance group FlowRulerz. Suen has been working in the arts for a number of years, participating in dance, theatre and music performance and composing. He has worked with artists including Fong Ho-man, E-kids and Andy So, and has been a choreographer for various universities’ dance associations. He was the creator and performer for The Smallest Little Thing, premiered at the HKAF’s CDS, as well as the movement director of 100Most’s Happy TV Most Birthday to Me and Thoughtful Theatre’s The Fading Spark and The Unspoken. Suen has also experimented with music. He is also a DJ, and has composed for the musicals Between You & Me and Bent and published his other musical works online.
