The 16th day

The 16th day

I open my eyes, and I am in the dark again. The only light in the dark.

Choreographer's Note
The 16th day brims with emotional and self-struggling complexity. Special arrangement with lights and sound mark the dialogue between the dance and the audiences in order to draw the audiences to the sleepless world. The choreographer aimed to abandon the traditional movement and try to create a new form of beauty, the unison of mental and body, the unconventional move, which started from the vellication of head and then develop to a form of moves by repetition and enlargement in order to show the mental state of the dancer. The music is a combination of mixed sound and melody that tells the struggling of the brain. The 16th day from a personal story to a big issue around the society how did the society affect our personal value and how to escape from the traditional form of beauty.
